Virtual Doctor service now available in Greek

PUBLISHED: 1 January 0001 | LAST UPDATED: 6 January 2023

We know speaking to a doctor in your own language can be a real source of comfort when you're ill. So, we're very pleased to announce your clients can now have a consultation with a doctor who speaks Greek, through our Virtual Doctor service

Telephone consultations with Greek-speaking doctors are now available between 09:00 and 21:00 EET, 7 days a week. You’ll just need to make sure your clients are registered for the service first.

Who provides the Virtual Doctor service?

As part of their global health plan, your individual and SME clients and those on a Large Corporate scheme who have chosen to upgrade, have access to the Virtual Doctor service

This service is provided by an independent third-party, Advance Medical (a Teladoc Health Company), and doesn't affect your clients and their employees' out-patient benefit limits or excess if they have one on their health plans. This means there's no need to make a claim for a Virtual Doctor consultation or appointment with a psychologist. They'll just need to let us know if they're referred for any additional treatment, so we can make sure it'll be covered by their plan.
