We process personal data using the following legal grounds:

• Referrer - We will request consent over the phone at point of sale or via our online consent form.
• Friend/Referee - The referrer will gather the consent from their friend to share the Refer a Friend Program offer. In order to take part, the referrer must confirm to the sales agent that they will inform the friend about this Privacy Policy and obtain the friend’s consent to participate.

Consent may be withdrawn at any time by sending an email to unsubscribeaxaglobal@axa.com, but this may limit your ability to take part in the Refer a Friend Program.

You are in control of how we use your information for marketing. If you wish to unsubscribe from emails sent by us you may do so at any time by clicking on the "unsubscribe" link that appears in all emails. Otherwise you can always contact us using the details provided to you in any marketing communication or your policy handbook to update your preferences. In such circumstances, we may send you service related (non-marketing) communications where necessary to fulfil our responsibilities.

In practice, this is usually no longer than 24 months after your last program activity, unless the law requires otherwise.
