How it works

If you're already an AXA Global Healthcare member, you can refer people you know to us. If they become a customer and take out an international health insurance plan with us*, both of you could earn £100 worth of rewards.

You can join the programme if you’re an existing AXA Global Healthcare member. We call you the ‘referrer’ and the people you refer, ‘friend’.

If you’re a referrer, you can only refer family members, close friends and acquaintances. Your friend can’t be living at the same address as you. Make sure to get their consent before sending them a referral invitation. 

As an existing AXA Global Healthcare member, you can refer up to 10 friends each calendar year.

This means, in any calendar year, you could earn rewards up to a maximum of £1,000 worth of Uber and PayPal credit.

No, you can only refer new customers to AXA Global Healthcare.

Before making your referral, please make sure that your friend has not taken out or held a policy with AXA Global Healthcare in the last three months. Be sure to read the full Terms and Conditions here.

Rewards

As an existing AXA Global Healthcare member, you could get a reward worth £100. You can select between £100 worth of Uber or PayPal credit. Please note, that Uber and/or PayPal might not be available as reward options in some countries.

If you don’t have an existing PayPal account, you’ll need to set one up so the reward can be added. Uber rewards are sent to you as a digital gift card.

Your friend could receive a reward worth £100. The rewards are either £100 worth of Uber or PayPal credit, depending on what's available in their country. 

For PayPal, the £100 will go directly into their PayPal account. They’ll get an email from PayPal with instructions on how to add the funds, or how to set up an account if they don’t have one.

For Uber, the reward is sent as a digital gift card that they can redeem.

Whether you're an existing AXA Global Healthcare customer referring a friend or a new customer who was referred by an existing customer, your options are £100 worth of Uber or PayPal credit. This will be credited to your account. Please note, Uber and/or PayPal may not be available as reward options in some countries.

If you don’t have an existing PayPal account, you’ll need to set one up so the reward can be added. Uber rewards are sent to you as a digital gift card.

Once your referred friend buys an eligible AXA Global Healthcare plan, and they have paid their first three months' premiums and been active policyholders for at least three months, your reward will be issued within 28 days of the third premium payment. You can select your preferred reward separately. Please read the full Terms and Conditions here.

We'll send you an email – using the email address you provided when signing up for the programme – when your reward is ready to use. The email will contain details about your reward.

If you have selected £100 worth of Uber credit, your Uber gift card will be emailed to you (using the email address you provided).

If you have selected £100 worth of PayPal credit, it will be credited straight into your PayPal account. You’ll receive an email from PayPal asking you to add the funds or create an account if you don’t already have one.

Please note: Uber and/or PayPal may not be available as reward options in some countries. 

To be eligible for the Refer a Friend programme, your friend must:

  • be a new AXA Global Healthcare customer.
  • not have held an AXA Global Healthcare policy in the last three months.
  • buy a global health plan with a minimum monthly premium of £130, $183, or €148 or annual premium of £1,482, $2,086, or €1,677.
  • pay at least three months’ premiums before they can claim a reward.

To be eligible to refer a friend, you must:

  • be an active member of any AXA Global Healthcare plan (individual, SME, or corporate).
  • have held an AXA Global Healthcare policy for at least three months.
  • have paid premiums for at least three months.
  • have no outstanding arrears at the time of reward payment.

Referral process

If you're an AXA Global Healthcare member, you can refer friends or family to our plans.

How to refer a friend in five steps:

  1. Sign up for the Refer a Friend programme on the AXA Global Healthcare website.
  2. Check the eligibility criteria and read the Terms and Conditions here.
  3. Fill in your name, email, and policy number to complete your registration.
  4. Once you're registered, you'll get an email with your unique referral link.
  5. Share that link with your friend(s) so they can register and purchase an eligible plan.

Please note: You can only refer family, close friends, or acquaintances. Your friend can’t be living at the same address as you. Please ask for their permission before sending them a referral link.

To purchase an eligible plan, we’ll call your friend to discuss their policy requirements and individual details. They won’t be able to buy a plan online.

Your unique referral link has been sent to your email and is also available on your referrer .

To access your dashboard, look out for the registration email from us — it contains a link to log in. If you're still having trouble, please contact our support team at referafriend.agh@axa.com.

Please ask your referrer to share their unique referral link with you. They can send it via email or SMS.

If you haven’t received it, please ask them to resend the link or check your messages again.

No. Your link must only be shared with people you know well, such as family and close friends. Please do not post it on public forums, channels, or anywhere others might see it, including social media.

Here’s what you can expect once you’ve referred your friend:

  1. Your friend signs up on the AXA Global Healthcare website using your unique referral link.
  2. You’ll get an email confirming your friend’s interest.
  3. Your friend fills out a call back form for an AXA agent to call them back.
  4. Your friend purchases an eligible plan over the phone with one of our agents. Your friend should mention that they’re a referral from the programme and provide your name and email.
  5. Please remember to check the full Terms and Conditions here.

You’ll receive an email confirming that your friend has shown an interest in a policy with us.

Yes, you can view the status of your referrals on your referrer dashboard.

The dashboard shows the number of pending and completed referrals. However, your friend’s name won’t be visible.

To access your dashboard, look out for the registration email from us — it contains a link to log in. If you can’t find the email, simply contact our support team at referafriend.agh@axa.com .

Once you sign up on the AXA Global Healthcare website using your unique referral link, you just need to fill out our callback form so one of our agents can call you back. Please remember to mention that you’re a referral from the Refer a Friend programme and provide the name and email of your referrer.

Yes, of course – we’re global. However, some countries are excluded due to restrictions or regulatory requirements, which may affect quotes or rewards. For details, please contact our support team via email referafriend.agh@axa.com.

Refer a Friend can be combined with our other marketing offers, including the 5% annual payment discount. However, the ability to combine discounts is at AXA Global Healthcare's discretion.

Support

It looks like your friend might not have signed up for Refer a Friend yet. Please send them your unique referral link and ask them to use it to register their interest on the AXA Global Healthcare website.

Make sure you’ve checked all the eligibility criteria in our Terms and Conditions here. Rewards are only given if both you and your friend meet all the requirements.

As a referrer, you need to:

  • be an active member of any AXA Global Healthcare plan (individual, SME, or large corporate).
  • have had your policy for at least three months.
  • have paid premiums for at least three months.
  • have no outstanding payments or arrears when the reward is issued.

Your friend needs to:

  • be a new AXA Global Healthcare customer.

Before the friend signs up:

If your referrer cancels their AXA Global Healthcare policy before you sign up, the referral link will no longer be valid. Unfortunately, this means you won’t be able to join the Refer a Friend programme, and no reward will be issued.

After the friend signs up:

If your referrer cancels their policy after you’ve signed up, the referral link will no longer be valid. You can review all the requirements in our Terms and Conditions here.

Yes – if you’re the friend and you've completed all the steps you’ll receive your reward. However, you and your referrer must meet all the eligibility criteria to receive your reward. Please review all the requirements in our Terms and Conditions here.

No. If your referred account has been deleted, your email may also have been removed from our system, which could prevent us from verifying your details and issuing your reward.

Privacy policy, and Terms and Conditions

When your friend calls to purchase a plan, they must tell the AXA Global Healthcare agent that they’re part of the Refer a Friend programme. They’ll also need to provide the agent with your name and email address. Your friend must also confirm that they have your consent to share these details with AXA Global Healthcare.

Absolutely. Referrers and their friends can opt out any time through any Refer a Friend emails. You can also contact us at referafriend.agh@axa.com.

The referrer can also delete their Refer a Friend account if they'd like to stop participating. Please note, this action may prevent us from issuing any rewards.
