We expanded the virtual care services we offer our members, by introducing a new Mind Health service. No matter where they are in the world, our members can quickly get professional support for their mental health.
When borders closed, we stayed open. We supported our members through the Covid-19 pandemic and made sure they could continue to access primary care, by opening access to our Virtual Doctor service to all members.
We welcomed AXA Insurance dac to our global insurance panel, to make sure our members residing in the EEA experienced no disruption when Brexit happened. And, we began our partnership with AXA Cooperative Insurance Company in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
We refreshed our branding and launched our new website.
We became AXA – Global Healthcare.
Before 2017 you might have known us as AXA PPP International, part of AXA’s UK health insurance company. But, in 2017 we became independent. We became a Managing General Agent, selling and administering international health insurance products, giving us access to even more of AXA’s resources around the world.

We’re a Managing General Agent selling and administering international health insurance products. The International health insurance products we sell, are underwritten by AXA insurers and non-AXA insurers.
Which insurers underwrite the international health insurance policies you sell?
We’re expanding our global insurance panel all the time. Today, we work with AXA PPP healthcare Limited, AXA Insurance dac, AXA General Insurance Hong Kong Limited and AXA XL Insurance Company UK Limited (AXICL UK).
Can you sell international health insurance policies, anywhere in the world?
When you buy one of our international health insurance policies, you can access medical care anywhere in the world. There are some countries where we’re unable to offer our international health insurance products. Our teams are always happy to talk to you about what is and isn’t available.
Do I pay my premiums to you, or to the underwriter of my policy?
AXA Global Healthcare collects your premiums on behalf of the underwriter of your policy.
